Sunday went pretty well. Kaylee got her wish of being moved to a room with a bath tub. She's making good use of it - at least 4 baths in the last 24 hours!
Today has been rougher, with a good bit of throwing up. A new x-ray showed that the feeding tube has not moved on down as anticipated, to a point past the compression, so formula from the tube has been backing up into the stomach, creating a lot of Kaylee's nausea. So Kaylee gets to visit Radiology Tuesday morning for them to guide the tube into a better position with a wire inserted into it. That should help a lot in the quest for feeding tube tolerance! Tuesday will be a better day!
We're all hanging in there. David stayed at the hospital last night, & I'm here tonight. Brenda hasn't been feeling well for a few days, so we've tried to give her a couple of nights off. She said she felt better today, thanks to the TLC of several friends. David & Brenda's friends & church family are doing an amazing job of taking care of all of us!
If you see this in time, please pray that the tube repositioning is successful, and they don't have to remove it and start over!
